Pārājika: Rules entailing expulsion from the Sangha (Defeat)

1. Should any bhikkhu — participating in the training and livelihood of the bhikkhus, without having renounced the training, without having declared his weakness — engage in sexual intercourse, even with a female animal, he is defeated and no longer in affiliation.
๑.    อนึ่ง  ภิกษุใด  ถึงพร้อมด้วยสิกขาธรรมเนียมเลี้ยงชีพร่วมกันของภิกษุทั้งหลายยังไม่กล่าวคืนสิกขา    ไม่ได้ทำให้แจ้งความเป็นผู้ถอย  กำลัง  พึงเสพเมถุนธรรม  โดยที่สุดแม้ในดิรัจฉานตัวเมีย  ภิกษุนี้เป็นปาราชิก  ไม่มีสังวาส. 
១.មួយវិញសោត ភិក្ខុណា ដល់ព្រមដោយសិក្ខាទំនៀមចិញ្ចឹមជីវិតរួមគ្នារបស់ភិក្ខុទាំងឡាយ មិនបានពោលលាសិក្ខា  មិនបានប្រកាសភាពជាអ្នកទន់ខ្សោយ សេពមេថុន ដោយហោចទៅសូម្បីនឹងសត្វតិរច្ឆានញី ភិក្ខុនេះជាបារាជិក គ្មានសង្វាស.
2. Should any bhikkhu, in what is reckoned a theft, take what is not given from an inhabited area or from the wilderness — just as when, in the taking of what is not given, kings arresting the criminal would flog, imprison, or banish him, saying, "You are a robber, you are a fool, you are benighted, you are a thief" — a bhikkhu in the same way taking what is not given also is defeated and no longer in affiliation.
๒.  อนึ่ง  ภิกษุใดถือเอาทรัพย์อันเจ้าของไม่ได้ให้  เป็นส่วนโจรกรรม  จากบ้านก็ดีจากป่าก็ดีพระราชาจับโจรได้แล้ว  ฆ่าเสียบ้าง  จำขังไว้บ้าง  เนรเทศเสียบ้าง  ด้วยปรับโทษว่า  เจ้าเป็นโจร  เจ้าเป็นคนพาล  เจ้าเป็นคนหลง  เจ้าเป็นคนขโมย  ดังนี้  เพราะถือเอาทรัพย์อันเจ้าของไม่ได้ให้เห็นปานใด ภิกษุถือเอาทรัพย์อันเจ้าของไม่ได้ให้เห็นปานนั้น  แม้ภิกษุนี้  ก็เป็นปาราชิก  หาสังวาสมิได้.
២.មួយវិញសោត ភិក្ខុណាកាន់យកទ្រព្យដែលគេមិនបានឲ្យ ជាផ្នែកចោរកម្ម ចាកភូមិក្តី ចាកព្រៃក្តី ព្រះរាជាចាប់ចោរបានហើយ សម្លាប់ចោលខ្លះ ឃុំខាំងខ្លះ និរទេសខ្លះ​ ដោយពោលថា ឯងជាចោរ ឯងជាជនពាល ឯងជាជនវង្វេង ឯងជាអ្នកលួច ដូច្នេះ ព្រោះកាន់យកទ្រព្យដែលគេមិនបានឲ្យបែបណា ភិក្ខុកាន់យកទ្រព្យដែលគេមិនបានឲ្យបែបនោះ សូម្បីភិក្ខុនេះក៏ជាបារាជិក គ្មានសង្វាស ។ 
3. Should any bhikkhu intentionally deprive a human being of life, or search for an assassin for him, or praise the advantages of death, or incite him to die (saying,): "My good man, what use is this evil, miserable life to you? Death would be better for you than life," or with such an idea in mind, such a purpose in mind, should in various ways praise the advantages of death or incite him to die, he also is defeated and no longer in affiliation.
๓.  อนึ่ง  ภิกษุใดแกล้งพรากกายมนุษย์จากชีวิตหรือแสวงหาศัสตราอันจะนำ  (ชีวิต)  เสียให้แก่กายมนุษย์นั้น    หรือพรรณนาคุณแห่งความตายหรือชักชวนเพื่อความตายด้วยคำว่า  "แน่ะ  นายผู้เป็นชาย  มีประโยชน์อะไรแก่ท่านด้วยชีวิตอันชั่วนี้  ท่านตายเสียดีกว่าเป็นอยู่"  ดังนี้เธอมีจิตใจ  มีจิตดำริอย่างนี้  พรรณนาคุณแห่งความตายก็ดี  ชักชวนเพื่อความตายก็ดี  โดยหลายนัย   แม้ภิกษุนี้  ก็เป็นปาราชิก  หาสังวาสมิได้.
៣.មួយវិញសោត ភិក្ខុណាក្លែងផ្តាច់ផ្តិលរាងកាយមនុស្សចាកជីវិតឬស្វែងរកសស្រ្តាវុធដែលនាំបង់ដល់រាងកាយមនុស្សនោះ ឬ ពណ៌នាគុណនៃសេចក្តីស្លាប់ ឬ ដឹកនាំដើម្បីសេចក្តីស្លាប់ដោយពាក្យថា នែបុរស​! មានប្រយោជន៍អ្វីដល់អ្នកដោយជីវិតដ៏អាក្រក់នេះ អ្នកស្លាប់ទៅប្រសើរជាងរស់នៅ ដូច្នេះ ភិក្ខុនោះមានចិត្តយ៉ាងនេះ ពណ៌នាគុណនៃសេចក្តីស្លាប់ក្តី ដឹកនាំដើម្បីស្លាប់ក្តី ដោយន័យច្រើនយ៉ាង សូម្បីភិក្ខុនេះក៏ជាបារាជិក គ្មានសង្វាស ។ 
4. Should any bhikkhu, without direct knowledge, claim a superior human state, a truly noble knowledge and vision, as present in himself, saying, "Thus do I know; thus do I see," such that regardless of whether or not he is cross-examined on a later occasion, he — being remorseful and desirous of purification — might say, "Friends, not knowing, I said I know; not seeing, I said I see — vainly, falsely, idly," unless it was from over-estimation, he also is defeated and no longer in affiliation.
๔.    อนึ่ง  ภิกษุใดไม่รู้เฉพาะ  (คือไม่รู้จริง)  กล่าวอวดอุตตริ มนุสสธัมม์  อันเป็น  ความเห็นอย่างประเสริฐ  อย่างสามารถ  น้อมเข้าในตัวว่า  ข้าพเจ้ารู้อย่างนี้  ข้าพเจ้าเห็นอย่างนี้  ครั้นสมัยอื่น  แต่นั้น  อันผู้ใด ผู้หนึ่ง  เชื่อก็ตาม  ไม่เชื่อก็ตาม  ก็เป็นอันต้องอาบัติแล้ว  มุ่งความหมดจด  (คือพ้นโทษ)  จะพึงกล่าวอย่างนี้ว่า  "แน่ะท่าน  ข้าพเจ้าไม่รู้  ได้กล่าวว่า     รู้  ไม่เห็นได้กล่าวว่าเห็นได้พูดพล่อยๆ  เป็นเท็จเปล่าๆ"  เว้นไว้แต่ว่าสำคัญว่าได้บรรลุ    แม้ภิกษุนี้  ก็เป็นปาราชิก  หาสังวาสมิได้.
៤.មួយវិញសោត ភិក្ខុណាមិនដឹងច្បាស់ ពោលអួតឧត្តរិមនុស្សធម៌ដែលជាគំហើញយ៉ាងប្រសើរក្លៀវក្លា លំឱនចូលមកក្នុងខ្លួនថា ខ្ញុំដឹងយ៉ាងនេះ ខ្ញុំឃើញយ៉ាងនេះ សម័យតមក ជនណាមួយជឿក្តី មិនជឿក្តី ក៏ត្រូវអាបត្តិ ហើយត្រូវការសេចក្តីហ្មត់ចត់ ពោល(ដោះសា)យ៉ាងនេះថា នែអ្នក ! ខ្ញុំមិនដឹង បាននិយាយ(ភ្លាត់មាត់)ថា បានដឹង មិនឃើញ បាននិយាយ(ភ្លាត់មាត់) ថា បានឃើញ បាននិយាយឡេះឡោះចោលទទេ ដូច្នេះ លើកលែងតែថាបានសម្រេច(មែន) សូម្បីភិក្ខុនេះក៏ជាបារាជិក គ្មានសង្វាស ។
